Programming Languages Familiarity

EasyPython

Problem

What programming languages are you familiar with?

For this coding exercise, represent the response as a list of language names and return a normalized list with duplicates removed while preserving first appearance order. Input is a list of strings, and output is a list of strings. Matching is case-insensitive, but preserve the capitalization of each language's first occurrence.

Constraints

  • 0 <= len(languages) <= 10000
  • Each language name is a non-empty string
  • Comparison is case-insensitive
  • The capitalization of the first occurrence must be preserved
