Prior Coding Interview Experience

MediumPython

Problem

Tell me about your previous experience with coding interviews and the kinds of embedded problems you have solved.

As a hands-on follow-up, implement a fixed-capacity circular buffer using an array and modular index arithmetic. Given a capacity and operations, return results for every dequeue and peek; return None when the buffer is empty, and ignore an enqueue when the buffer is full.

Use def circular_buffer_operations(capacity, operations):; each operation is ['enqueue', value], ['dequeue'], or ['peek'].

Constraints

  • 1 <= capacity <= 1000
  • 1 <= len(operations) <= 1000
  • Each operation is either ['enqueue', value], ['dequeue'], or ['peek']
  • Values are integers in the range -10^9 to 10^9
  • An enqueue on a full buffer is ignored

Function Signature

def circular_buffer_operations(capacity, operations):
