Primes, Dictionaries, Reverse Words

EasyPython

Problem

As part of a GlobalLogic QA automation utility, implement one function that performs three independent data-processing tasks. Generate all prime numbers up to a limit, merge key-value pairs into a dictionary, and reverse the order of words in a sentence.

Return the results in a dictionary with exactly these keys: primes, merged, and reversed_sentence.

Formal Specification

Implement build_qa_summary(limit, pairs, sentence):

  1. limit is an integer. Return every prime number from 2 through limit, inclusive, in ascending order.
  2. pairs is a list of two-element lists, where each pair contains a string key and an integer value. Insert the pairs in order. If a key occurs more than once, its last value replaces the earlier value.
  3. sentence is a string containing zero or more words separated by whitespace. Return the words in reverse order, joined by one space. Normalize repeated whitespace in the result.

Constraints

  • 0 <= limit <= 100000
  • 0 <= len(pairs) <= 10000
  • Each pair contains a non-whitespace string key and an integer value
  • The sentence contains at most 10000 words
