Asked in the Design round stage. Spend about 30 minutes with an architect; writing the services and DB schema is sufficient. The interviewer may add requirements and ask how your design handles them.
Address the domain model, APIs, authorization for each user type, parking allocation and checkout flows, transaction boundaries, and schema constraints. Explain how you would extend the design with an ML-backed requirement while preserving correctness, latency, and operational simplicity.
