OpenStack and POST API Integration

HardPython

Problem

Tell me about a time you worked with OpenStack and used POST APIs to tie platforms together.

Implement the algorithmic portion by ordering platform POST requests so every dependency is created first. Return the lexicographically smallest valid order, or an empty list when dependencies contain a cycle.

Use plan_post_order(platforms, dependencies), where platforms is a list of unique strings and dependencies maps each platform to its prerequisite platforms. Return a list of platform names.

Constraints

  • 1 <= len(platforms) <= 500
  • Platform names are unique non-empty strings
  • Every dependency name appears in platforms
  • Each dependency list contains no duplicate platform names
  • A platform cannot depend on itself
  • Return the lexicographically smallest valid topological order
  • Return [] if the dependency graph contains a cycle
