Your question is On-Prem to Azure Migration. Take a moment with it on the right.

Talk me through your thinking if you like. When you're confident, submit your answer and I'll grade it like a real screen (7/10 or better passes).

You need to log in / sign up to chat or submit.

Problem

What was one way you implemented a migration from an on premise infrastructure to Azure?

Describe one migration approach you personally used or would implement. Cover the source systems, Azure services, data movement strategy, pipeline orchestration, validation, cutover plan, rollback strategy, and how you monitored the migration. Be specific about technology choices such as Azure Data Factory, Self-hosted Integration Runtime, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Key Vault, or infrastructure as code. Explain how you handled incremental loads, failures, credentials, schema compatibility, and minimizing disruption to existing consumers.
