Multi-Part Coding Assessment Approach

MediumPython

Problem

How would you approach a multi-part coding assessment where you must complete part 3 to advance?

Implement the dependency-resolution portion of that approach. Given assessment parts and their prerequisite part IDs, return every incomplete part whose prerequisites are complete, sorted by part ID.

Function: next_unlocked_parts(parts, completed), where parts is a list of dictionaries with integer id and list requires, and completed is a list of completed IDs. Return a list of integer IDs.

Constraints

  • 1 <= len(parts) <= 1000
  • Part IDs are unique positive integers
  • Every prerequisite ID refers to a listed part
  • A part may require zero or more other parts
  • completed contains valid part IDs
