Most Recent Task Containing Keyword

MediumSQL · PostgreSQL

Problem

How would you search tasks from newest to oldest to return the most recent task that contains a given keyword substring?

Use the substring deploy for this exercise. Search both task titles and descriptions, treating NULL text as non-matching.

Output

  1. Return at most one row with task_id, title, created_at, and creator_name.
  2. Include the newest matching task only, ordered by created_at descending and task_id descending as the tie-breaker.
  3. If the matching task has no corresponding creator, return NULL for creator_name.
