Most Common Learning Path | Dataford Interview Questions

Given a list of student course enrollments, write a function to find the most common learning path taken by users.

Each enrollment is a dictionary with user_id, course_id, and integer order. Return the course ID sequence that appears for the greatest number of users. If multiple paths are equally common, return the lexicographically smallest sequence. Return an empty list when no enrollments are provided.

Function signature: most_common_learning_path(enrollments)

Constraints

0 <= len(enrollments) <= 1000
Each enrollment contains string fields user_id and course_id, plus an integer order
Each user's order values are unique
A user may have one or more enrollments
If several paths are most common, return the lexicographically smallest course sequence
