Method Overloading vs Overriding

MediumPython

Problem

What is method overloading and overriding?

Implement demonstrate_polymorphism(calls) to model both concepts. Use one calculator method that supports two or three numeric arguments, and a derived calculator that overrides describe(). Each call is a dictionary with object, method, and args; return the results in order.

Constraints

  • 1 <= len(calls) <= 1000
  • Each call object is either "base" or "advanced"
  • Each method is "add" or "describe"
  • Each add call contains exactly 2 or 3 integers
  • Each describe call contains no arguments
