Merge Offline Ride Sync Operations

HardPython

Problem

Given a list of offline ride operation records, merge them into the minimal sync payload to send when connectivity returns. Each record is a JSON string with fields ride_id, seq, op, and optional data. Operations for the same ride_id must be applied in ascending seq. Return a list of merged operations sorted by ride_id, where redundant updates are collapsed and invalidated rides are removed.

Constraints

  • 1 <= len(records) <= 10^5
  • Each record is valid JSON with ride_id as a non-empty string and seq as an integer
  • op is one of "create", "update", "delete"
  • For a given ride_id, seq values are unique but may arrive out of order
  • data contains at most 100 key-value pairs
