Find the maximum integer in an array using an efficient method.

Implement find_maximum(nums), which accepts a non-empty array of integers and returns its largest value. Scan the array without sorting it. The result is a single integer.

Constraints

1 <= nums.length <= 100000
-10^9 <= nums[i] <= 10^9
The array is non-empty.
