Implementing a Linked List

MediumPython

Problem

How would you implement a linked list in your preferred programming language?

Implement a mutable singly linked list supporting append, prepend, deletion of the first matching value, and traversal. The function receives operation dictionaries and returns one list snapshot for each to_list operation.

Constraints

  • 1 <= operations.length <= 1000
  • Each operation is one of append, prepend, delete, or to_list
  • Every append, prepend, and delete operation contains an integer value
  • Values satisfy -10^9 <= value <= 10^9
  • Deletion removes only the first matching value
  • At least one to_list operation is present

Function Signature

def linked_list_operations(operations):
