Your question is Learning From Project Failure. Take a moment with it on the right.

Talk me through your thinking if you like. When you're confident, submit your answer and I'll grade it like a real screen (7/10 or better passes).

You need to log in / sign up to chat or submit.

Problem

Walk me through a past project failure, what went wrong, and how you applied those lessons moving forward.

Explain the situation, your specific responsibilities, the decisions or assumptions that contributed to the failure, and the outcome. Focus on what you personally owned rather than assigning blame. I am interested in how you diagnosed the problem, communicated it to stakeholders, supported the team through the recovery, and changed your approach afterward.

A strong answer uses a specific example and follows STAR. Include the stakes, timeline, measurable impact where available, the actions you took to recover, and evidence that your lesson learned led to a lasting change in how you or your team worked.
