Immutable Class Implementation

Immutable Class Implementation

MediumPython

Problem

How to make a class immutable?

Implement create_immutable_point(x, y), returning an object with read-only x and y attributes. The object must reject attribute reassignment, deletion, and addition after construction, while still supporting normal reads. The function should return a dictionary snapshot containing the two values so the result can be graded.

Constraints

  • x and y are existing values that do not need validation.
  • The returned object must expose readable x and y attributes.
  • Reassigning or deleting any attribute must raise AttributeError.
  • Adding an undeclared attribute must raise AttributeError.
  • The constructor must remain the only supported way to set the point's values.

Function Signature
