Your question is High-Volume Real-Time Streaming. Take a moment with it on the right.
Talk me through your thinking if you like. When you're confident, submit your answer and I'll grade it like a real screen (7/10 or better passes).
How would you design a high-volume, real-time data streaming service from the ground up?
Clarify the event producers, consumers, ordering and delivery guarantees, retention, replay, and real-time ML requirements before proposing an architecture. Address ingestion, partitioning, durable storage, stream processing, online inference, model and feature updates, observability, backpressure, failure recovery, and cost. Explain how you would validate the design under increasing throughput and partial failures.
