Your question is Handling Vendor Timeline Slips. Take a moment with it on the right.

Talk me through your thinking if you like. When you're confident, submit your answer and I'll grade it like a real screen (7/10 or better passes).

You need to log in / sign up to chat or submit.

Problem

How do you deal with a difficult vendor who cannot deliver within the timeline previously agreed to?

You are the TPM on a Zoox program with a vendor supplying a critical dependency on the launch path. The vendor is now saying they will miss the committed date, and the delay may affect downstream integration and launch readiness. Explain how you would assess impact, communicate with stakeholders, and decide whether to renegotiate scope, change sequencing, or activate a fallback.
