Your question is Handling Missing Values. Take a moment with it on the right.

Talk me through your thinking if you like. When you're confident, submit your answer and I'll grade it like a real screen (7/10 or better passes).

You need to log in / sign up to chat or submit.

Problem

If given a dataset with missing values, how would you handle it?

Explain how you would profile the missingness, determine whether values are missing completely at random, missing at random, or missing not at random, and select an appropriate treatment. Address deletion, simple imputation, model-based imputation, missingness indicators, validation, and sensitivity analysis. State how your approach would change for numerical, categorical, and outcome variables.
