Your question is Handling Conflicting Manager Deadlines. Take a moment with it on the right.

Talk me through your thinking if you like. When you're confident, submit your answer and I'll grade it like a real screen (7/10 or better passes).

You need to log in / sign up to chat or submit.

Problem

If two managers each assign you tasks with the same deadlines, how would you manage them? Explain how you would clarify priorities, assess dependencies and effort, and communicate any delivery risks. We are looking for a practical approach that protects both commitments without silently accepting an unrealistic workload. Use a specific example from your experience if possible, and describe the outcome.
