What should you do if you get stuck during a technical interview?
Explain how you would recognize that you are stuck, communicate the obstacle clearly, and make productive use of the interviewer’s guidance. The interviewer is assessing whether you remain calm, clarify assumptions, break the problem into smaller steps, and continue demonstrating sound reasoning rather than silently spinning. Use a specific past example if possible, and explain what you learned about handling uncertainty in future interviews.
