Handle Miscommunication in Coding

MediumPython

Problem

Tell me about a time you had miscommunication during a coding problem and how you recovered to deliver a correct solution. For the coding portion, model recovery by applying clarified requirements over the original requirements. Implement the function below, returning a corrected requirements dictionary where clarified values override original values and unrelated requirements remain unchanged. Input dictionaries use string keys and JSON-compatible primitive values.

Constraints

  • 0 <= len(original) <= 10^5
  • 0 <= len(clarified) <= 10^5
  • All keys are strings
  • Values are JSON-compatible primitive values
  • The input dictionaries may be empty
