Group Anagrams Together | Dataford Interview Questions

From a list of strings, group together words that are anagrams of each other.

Implement group_anagrams(strings), preserving the order in which groups are first encountered and the original order of strings within each group. Anagrams are case-sensitive, and the output must be a list of lists.

Constraints

0 <= len(strings) <= 1000
0 <= len(strings[i]) <= 100
Strings may contain letters, digits, spaces, or punctuation
Anagrams are case-sensitive
The output preserves first-seen group order and within-group input order
