Python Framework Experience

MediumPython

Problem

Describe your experience with Python and its frameworks. Demonstrate that experience by implementing a small route-registration helper similar to functionality found in web frameworks. Given route definitions, return a dictionary mapping each path to its handler name; if a path appears more than once, the later definition replaces the earlier one.

Function: register_routes(routes)

Input: A list of two-element lists, where each element contains a path and handler name, both strings. Output: A dictionary mapping each path to its final handler name.

Constraints

  • 0 <= routes.length <= 10^4
  • Each route definition contains exactly two strings
  • Paths are non-empty strings
  • Handler names are non-empty strings

Function Signature

def register_routes(routes):
