Flatten Nested Lists

MediumPython

Problem

How would you convert a nested list that contains either nested lists or integers into a single flat list?

Implement flatten_nested_list(nested). The input is a list whose elements are integers or lists with the same structure. Return a new list containing all integers in left-to-right order.

Constraints

  • 0 <= number of integers and nested lists <= 10^4
  • Nesting depth is at most 500
  • -10^9 <= each integer <= 10^9
  • Every element is either an integer or a list
