Find Vowels in a String

EasyPython

Problem

Find the vowels in a string.

Implement find_vowels(s) to return every vowel in s, in its original order and with its original capitalization. Treat a, e, i, o, and u as vowels, ignore case when checking, and leave y out. The input is a string and the output is a list of one-character strings; for example, "Engineering" returns ["E", "i", "e", "e", "i"], while "rhythm" returns [].

Constraints

  • 0 <= len(s) <= 10^5
  • s contains standard ASCII letters, spaces, and punctuation
  • Only a, e, i, o, and u count as vowels; y does not
