Filter and Transform Data for UI | Dataford Interview Questions

The Brillio delivery dashboard receives project records that are not ready for direct rendering. Given a list of record objects, return only records that match the selected team, are active, and meet a minimum score. Transform each matching record into a compact UI item, then sort the items by descending score and ascending name for ties.

Formal Specification

Implement build_ui_items(records, selected_team, min_score).

records is a list of dictionaries. Each dictionary contains id as an integer, name as a string, team as a string, active as a Boolean, score as an integer, and tags as a list of strings.
selected_team is a string.
min_score is an integer.
Return a list of dictionaries with the fields key, label, score, and tagText.
key equals id, label equals name, and tagText contains alphabetically sorted tags joined with ", ".

Constraints

0 <= len(records) <= 10^5
Each record contains all required fields
Record IDs are unique
0 <= score <= 100
0 <= len(tags) <= 20
Tag values contain no commas
