Filter Active Users for CSV

EasySQL · PostgreSQL

Problem

A customer has provided Moveworks with access to its user database. The product owner needs a CSV-ready report containing only active users whose email address ends with .test.

Write a PostgreSQL query that joins the customer user records with their directory email records.

Requirements

  1. Return the user ID and email address only.
  2. Include users whose status is exactly active.
  3. Include only email addresses ending in .test, using case-insensitive matching.
  4. Sort the report by user ID in ascending order for deterministic CSV output.
