Describe all seven layers in order, from Physical through Application. For each layer, explain its primary responsibility, provide representative protocols or technologies where appropriate, and distinguish it from adjacent layers. Also explain encapsulation during transmission and decapsulation during reception. Keep the explanation practical and concise, as you would in a technical interview.
