Your question is Experience with Open Source Message Queues. Take a moment with it on the right.
Talk me through your thinking if you like. When you're confident, submit your answer and I'll grade it like a real screen (7/10 or better passes).
Have you used any open source message queue systems?
Asked in the Hiring manager phone interview stage. Asked among typical computer science questions.
Discuss one or more open source systems you have used, such as Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, Apache Pulsar, or Redis Streams. Explain the use case, producer and consumer design, delivery semantics, scaling approach, and how you handled failures. Compare your chosen system with at least one alternative, and describe how you would monitor and operate it in production.
