Excel Reconciliation With Data

MediumSQL · PostgreSQL

Problem

How do you handle large datasets in Excel when performing weekly reconciliations at Adobe, and which functions do you rely on most?

For this SQL exercise, compare posted Adobe transactions with weekly reconciliation control totals. Include matched records, amount or count mismatches, and records present on only one side.

Output

  1. One row per account and week, with account_code, week_start, transaction_count, reconciled_count, transaction_total, reconciled_total, and reconciliation_status.
  2. Include all records from either source, order by account_code and week_start.
