Evaluate Employee Payment Within Budget | Dataford Interview Questions

Write a function that accepts a List of employee hours, a budget, and salary. The function should return true if the payment needed to go out to the employees is under budget, and false if it is above budget. Assume that the salary is the same for all employees, and remember if an employee has worked over 40 hours, each hour over 40 is 1.5x pay.

Use def is_under_budget(hours, budget, salary):. hours is a list of nonnegative numbers, and budget and salary are nonnegative numbers. Return a boolean. The result is True only when total payroll is strictly less than the budget.

Constraints

0 <= len(hours) <= 10^5
0 <= hours[i] <= 10^6
0 <= salary
0 <= budget
Hours, salary, and budget are numeric values
