Your question is Enterprise Value vs Equity Value. Take a moment with it on the right.

Talk me through your thinking if you like. When you're confident, submit your answer and I'll grade it like a real screen (7/10 or better passes).

You need to log in / sign up to chat or submit.

Problem

What is the difference between Enterprise Value and Equity Value?

Asked in the First round, 30 min, associate stage. This is a valuation technical question in the associate round.

Explain the distinction clearly, identify the bridge between the two values, and demonstrate when each measure is relevant. The interviewer is also assessing whether you can communicate a core finance concept accurately and concisely under time pressure.
