End-to-End Analytics Audit

HardSQL · PostgreSQL

Problem

Tell me about your methodology for conducting an end-to-end analytics audit on a high-traffic e-commerce portal.

For this exercise, audit source orders against Adobe Analytics order events and identify records requiring investigation. Compare order totals with captured event revenue and account for missing, duplicate, orphaned, and null-revenue events.

Output

  1. One row per order or analytics order key requiring investigation.
  2. Columns: audit_order_id, order_date, order_total, event_count, captured_revenue, and audit_status.
  3. Include only non-OK records. Sort by audit_order_id ascending.
