Implement a DOM Store

Implement a DOM Store

MediumPython

Problem

Implement DOMStore: a store that lets you set, get and delete arbitrary data associated with a DOM node.

Asked in the technical phone screen stage. This was the first of the two phone screen questions, and the candidate notes it can be searched directly on bigfrontend.dev.

I/O Contract

Represent each DOM node with an opaque string ID. operations contains objects with op, node, and, for set, value. Return results only for get and delete, in operation order. get returns null when no value exists, while delete returns a Boolean.

Constraints

  • 1 <= operations.length <= 1000
  • Each operation is set, get, or delete.
  • Node IDs are strings.
  • Values may be any JSON-compatible value.
  • Set operations always include a value.

Function Signature
