SQL for Disney+ MAU Growth

MediumSQL · PostgreSQL

Problem

Write a query to find the monthly active users (MAU) for Disney+ and calculate the month-over-month growth rate.

Use activity from active Disney+ accounts only. A user counts once per calendar month, regardless of how many activity records they have.

Output

  1. One row per month with activity.
  2. Columns: month_start, mau, and mom_growth_rate.
  3. mom_growth_rate should be the percentage change from the previous month, rounded to two decimal places. Return NULL when no prior month exists.
  4. Order by month_start ascending.
