You have just shipped a product release in an enterprise software workflow, and a key business metric drops shortly after launch. The team needs to determine whether the decline came from a tracking issue, a behavior change, or a specific part of the user journey that regressed. You are expected to break the metric into its components, compare pre and post release behavior, and isolate the root issue quickly.
