Your question is Describe a Risk You Took That Didn’t Work Out. Take a moment with it on the right.

Talk me through your thinking if you like. When you're confident, submit your answer and I'll grade it like a real screen (7/10 or better passes).

You need to log in / sign up to chat or submit.

Problem

When in your last job did you take a risk and fail?

Asked in the virtual on site stage. Choose one specific decision where you knowingly accepted meaningful uncertainty, explain why the risk seemed justified, and be clear about what failed. The interviewer is probing for judgment, ownership, resilience, and whether you learn rather than rationalize or blame others. A strong response uses STAR, distinguishes a reasonable risk from careless execution, quantifies the impact where possible, explains how you communicated the failure, and identifies a concrete change in your decision-making or operating process.
