You are the Engineering Manager for a new internal tooling project. Before the team starts building, you need to make sure everyone agrees on what success looks like, even though different stakeholders may care about different outcomes.
The project will affect multiple teams, so unclear success criteria could lead to wasted effort, conflicting priorities, or a solution that satisfies one group but not the business.
