Welcome to your interview.
The question is on your right: Decide If an Issue Is Resolved. Take a moment with it first.
Talk your thinking through with me if you like - when you're confident, submit your answer and I'll grade it like a real screen (7/10 or better passes). Discussion and graded submissions share your five interviewer interactions, so spend them well.
You are an engineering manager on a digital operations product team. A production issue was fixed yesterday, and the team wants to know if the fix is good enough to close out or if it needs more work. The main concern is whether the issue is actually resolved in the product, or if the system is only looking better because traffic is lower or users have not hit the broken path again.
How do you decide whether a technical issue is solved well enough to move on?
