Debugging Intermittent Issues

MediumPython

Problem

How do you debug a problem which is intermittent?

Implement intermittent_windows(outcomes, window_size) to identify every fixed-size window containing both 0 and 1, excluding windows whose first two values are both 0. Return the starting indices in ascending order. The input is a list of binary integers and a positive window size. If the window size is less than two, no window can qualify.

Constraints

  • 0 <= len(outcomes) <= 10^5
  • outcomes[i] is either 0 or 1
  • 1 <= window_size <= 10^5
