Welcome to your interview.
The question is on your right: De-risk a Multi-Team Launch. Take a moment with it first.
Talk your thinking through with me if you like - when you're confident, submit your answer and I'll grade it like a real screen (7/10 or better passes). Discussion and graded submissions share your five interviewer interactions, so spend them well.
You are the Engineering Manager owning a launch that is already behind schedule and now has a critical blocker in one dependent team’s integration work. Product, QA, operations, and customer support all need the release to land together, but each group is optimizing for a different outcome: speed, stability, customer comms, or operational readiness. Leadership wants a firm go-live date, while the teams closest to the work are warning that the current plan may not be safe.
How do you handle a situation where a launch is at risk and multiple teams are involved?
