Welcome to your interview.
The question is on your right: De-risk a Critical Launch Dependency. Take a moment with it first.
Talk your thinking through with me if you like - when you're confident, submit your answer and I'll grade it like a real screen (7/10 or better passes). Discussion and graded submissions share your five interviewer interactions, so spend them well.
You are the Engineering Manager owning a launch that is blocked by a dependency in another engineering team. The launch is already committed to customers and leadership, but the external team is slipping because they are also handling a production issue. You need to decide how to protect the launch, align stakeholders, and manage the trade-offs.
What would you do if a critical launch was at risk because of an engineering dependency outside your team?
