Data Analysis Tools

EasySQL · PostgreSQL

Problem

What data analysis software are you familiar with?

For this SQL-focused follow-up, write a PostgreSQL query that summarizes reported familiarity across the available software tools. Include only current analysts when calculating usage statistics.

Output

  1. One row per software tool, including tools with no current analyst records.
  2. Columns: software_name, analyst_count, average_years_used, and familiarity_band.
  3. Classify averages as No reported use, Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced; sort by analyst count descending, average years descending with missing values last, then software name ascending.
