Customer Segmentation with Clustering

Your question is Customer Segmentation with Clustering. Take a moment with it on the right.

Talk me through your thinking if you like. When you're confident, submit your answer and I'll grade it like a real screen (7/10 or better passes).

You need to log in / sign up to chat or submit.

Problem

You are given customer-level data from a consumer business, and the goal is to create segments that are useful for marketing, retention, and product decisions. The segments should be stable enough to reuse, but still reflect meaningful differences in customer behavior.

What matters

  • Customers may differ by spend, frequency, recency, channel use, and product mix.
  • The output should be interpretable enough for business teams to name and use the segments.
  • The segmentation should hold up on new data, not just fit one snapshot.
