Custom API Rate Limiter | Dataford Interview Questions

Implement a custom rate-limiter to protect Sourgum's external API endpoints from abuse.

Implement rate_limiter(requests, limit, window) and return one boolean per request. Each request contains client_id, endpoint, and an integer timestamp; requests are provided in nondecreasing timestamp order. Apply the limit independently to each client and endpoint over the previous window seconds, and rejected requests must not consume capacity.

Constraints

1 <= len(requests) <= 1000
1 <= limit <= 1000
1 <= window <= 10^9
Each request contains nonempty string fields client_id and endpoint
Timestamps are integers in nondecreasing order
Rejected requests do not consume rate-limit capacity
