Implement Currency Exchange Interface

HardPython

Problem

How would you implement an interface that performs currency exchange?

Implement currency_exchange(rates, queries), where each rate [source, target, multiplier] means one unit of source equals multiplier units of target. Return each converted amount rounded to six decimal places, or None when no conversion path exists. Conversions may use reverse rates and multiple intermediate currencies.

Constraints

  • 1 <= len(rates) <= 1000
  • 1 <= len(queries) <= 1000
  • Each rate is [source, target, multiplier], where source and target are non-empty currency codes
  • 0 < multiplier <= 1000
  • Each query is [source, target, amount], where amount >= 0
  • Currency codes contain at most 10 uppercase letters
  • There is at most one quoted rate for each currency pair
