Your question is Collaborating on Vulnerability Remediation. Take a moment with it on the right.

Talk me through your thinking if you like. When you're confident, submit your answer and I'll grade it like a real screen (7/10 or better passes).

You need to log in / sign up to chat or submit.

Problem

How have you previously collaborated with software engineering teams to remediate application vulnerabilities?

In your response, focus on a specific example and explain how you identified ownership, assessed severity, prioritized the work, and helped engineers implement and validate the fix. Describe how you handled competing delivery priorities or disagreement about risk. The interviewer is evaluating practical security judgment, influence without authority, communication with engineering partners, and ownership through closure. Strong answers should use a clear STAR structure, explain the technical and business stakes, quantify the result where possible, and include what you learned.
