City Frequencies Output

EasyPython

Problem

You are given an array of cities [Mumbai, Pune, Mumbai, Pune, Banglore, Hyderabad, Noida, Kolkata, Pune]. Print the city name and its frequency for each city (for example, Mumbai - 2, then Pune - 3). The function should return formatted strings in the order each city first appears. Input is a list of strings, and output is a list of strings formatted as City - count.

Constraints

  • 0 <= cities.length <= 1000
  • Each city is a non-empty string
  • City names are case-sensitive
  • Output order follows first appearance in the input
