Your question is Check If Array Is Increasing. Start with the requirements on the right.

Problem

Lucidchart may provide an ordered list of numeric coordinates for objects along a diagram path. Given an array of integers, determine whether it is strictly increasing, meaning every element is greater than the element immediately before it.

Return True if the array is strictly increasing. Return False if any adjacent pair is equal or decreases. An empty array and an array with one element are considered strictly increasing because they contain no violating pair.

Formal Specification

Implement is_increasing(nums), where nums is a list of integers. The function must return a Boolean value.

Constraints

  • 0 <= nums.length <= 10^5
  • -10^9 <= nums[i] <= 10^9
  • The input is a list of integers

Function Signature

def is_increasing(nums):
