Your question is Catching Report Errors Early. Take a moment with it on the right.

Talk me through your thinking if you like. When you're confident, submit your answer and I'll grade it like a real screen (7/10 or better passes).

You need to log in / sign up to chat or submit.

Problem

Tell me about a time you identified a critical error in a report before anyone else did. What did you do?

We are looking for a specific example that shows how you validated the issue, assessed its potential impact, and communicated it to the people relying on the report. Explain how you balanced speed with accuracy, handled any disagreement or pressure, and took ownership through resolution.

A strong answer should use STAR, distinguish facts from assumptions, describe the actions you personally took, and quantify the outcome where possible. Include what you learned and how you changed your reporting or quality-control process afterward.
